Sales commission is a standard way of compensating sales people in most businesses.
In LS Central the Sales Commission functionality dynamically calculates the commission based on the performance of the salesperson by:
- Item sold
- Store
- Date/time of sale
- Salesperson/staff ID
- Customer buying
- Transaction amount
- Discount offer triggered.
A commission rule is used to determine if and how the sales commission is to be calculated. Sales Commission in LS Central uses two types of Commission Rule calculations, Transaction and Sales Target:
- Transaction - the sales commission is based on a percentage or a fixed amount of the sales amount in each transaction.
- Sales Target - the sales commission is based on a percentage or a fixed amount that is based on the total sales amount over the selected Commission Sales period.
