The Commission Sales Periods page is used to define sales periods, either by single-entry insertion or by running the Create Sales Period Report.
Note: Commission sales periods are required for the commission process.
The commission fields Calculated Commission and Commission Sales in the report show accumulated unposted commission for each period.
To open the Commission Sales Periods
- Click the
icon, enter Commission Sales Periods, and select the relevant link.
The actions in the Commission Sales Periods page let you perform different sales period related tasks.
Click the Process action to:
- Create Periods
- Process End of Period
- Reopen a period
- Print a report for a period
- Create a Gen. Journal based on sales commission transaction of the selected periods
- View entries for a selected period
- Set a commission sale target.
