Staff Settings
Before a sales commission rule is set, make sure that the staff who get the commission have the required role or belong to a group that is approved for a sales commission.
If a staff member is to get sales commission according to a sales commission rule, the value in the Employment Type field must be identical in the rule and on the Staff Card.
A rule that gives a salesperson commission, but not the cashier, is therefore specified in the Employment Type field either as Sales Person or Both (cashier and salesperson).
To open the Staff Card
- Click the icon, enter Staff List, and select the relevant link.
- Double-click a staff member in the list to open the Staff Card.
- In the General Fast tab, locate the Employment Type field. The options here are:
- Cashier
- Sales Person
- Both
Only staff with Employment Type Sales Person and Both are eligible for sales commission.
