Staff Settings

Before a sales commission rule is set, make sure that the staff who get the commission have the required role or belong to a group that is approved for a sales commission.

If a staff member is to get sales commission according to a sales commission rule, the value in the Employment Type field must be identical in the rule and on the Staff Card.

A rule that gives a salesperson commission, but not the cashier, is therefore specified in the Employment Type field either as Sales Person or Both (cashier and salesperson).

To open the Staff Card

  1. Click the icon, enter Staff List, and select the relevant link.
  2. Double-click a staff member in the list to open the Staff Card.
  3. In the General Fast tab, locate the Employment Type field. The options here are:
    • Cashier
    • Sales Person
    • Both

    Only staff with Employment Type Sales Person and Both are eligible for sales commission.
