Retail Salesperson Setup
Each salesperson receives commission either as a customer or vendor. You specify the commission type in the Account Type field on the Retail Salesperson Card.
To set the account type for a retail salesperson:
- Click the icon, enter Retail Salesperson List, and select the relevant link.
- Double-click an entry in the list to open the Retail Salesperson Card.
- In the General FastTab, click Show more, and fill in these fields:
- The Account Type field, select the relevant option, Customer or Vendor.
- The Account No. field, select the relevant number. The list opens the data depending on the value you selected in in the previous field.
The Retail Salesperson Card is where you define the commission grouping for each salesperson.
Commission blocking is set here, and the page shows an overview of earned commission and the sales target from unposted commission entries.
When you test a commission, you can see here the identity behind the initials used in the Staff ID, Sales Staff, and Customer No. fields.
