Retail Setup
Before you start setting up the Sales Commission functionality, you must set the Retail Setup information.
The settings for Sales Commission are available in the Retail Setup page, the Posting FastTab, and there you make the commission active and define the main details of the commissions.
In addition to selecting the Commission Active check box, you must also define the following options:
- Calculate in Statem. Posting - sales commission is calculated for each transaction in the Statement while posting it.
Note: If this check box is not selected, you must calculate the commission manually for each posted statement. - Calculate in Sales Posting - the same as the Calculate in Statem. Posting check box.
- Exclude Returns - credit memos and credit POS sales are excluded from the commission calculation.
- Original Salespers. in Returns - when this check box is selected, return sales will use the original salesperson, otherwise the active salesperson is used in the returned sale.
- Bal. Acc. Type - here the options are:
- G/L Account
- Bank Account
- Bal Acc. No. - you can leave this field empty or select options from the G/L Account List page or the Bank Account list, depending on the selected type.
