Style Profile

The Style Profile is divided into sections for each type of station and that station's components. All lines are created automatically when the style profile is created. You cannot create or delete lines, you only need to select the design for each component.
Each Line
Field | Description |

Station Component Type | The lines in the style profile are created automatically for each component that needs styling. |
Station Font | Select a Station Font to set the font, font color (leave blank if you want to use the text color from the skin), font size, font weight, and font styling. |
Station Skin | Select a Station Skin to set the background color, font color, and border settings for the header. |
Alignment | Set the default alignment of the field within each grid cell. |
Row Padding | Row padding adds top and bottom padding to add height to the rows in the header grid. |
General
The Style Profile defines the default font and background colors and sizes for all user interface elements in the Web KDS.
In the General section, enter the ID and Description for the style profile.
Header
The Header section defines the default font and skin for the Header of the Web KDS. The default style that is set in the Style Profile can be overridden for each field in the Header Profile.
Line Display
In the Line Display you can select the default style for
- Table Header - This is the header line of the item lines table.
- Item Lines - These are all the item lines in the line display.
Note: You can override the style for each field in the Line Content Profile.
Chit Display
In the Chit Display section you select the default style for the
- Item Lines - This is the content part of the chit that contains the order lines. The background color of the item line section changes depending on the time styles.
- Chit Header - This is the header of the chit, the information above the content part of the chit. The background color of the header and footer part of the chit changes depending on the order status. The background color per status is set in the Order Status.
- Chit Footer - This is the footer of the chit, the information below the content part of the chit. The background color of the header and footer part of the chit changes depending on the order status. The background color per status is set in the Order Status.
The style of each field in the header, content or footer, can be overridden in the Chit Content Profile.
Card Display
The Card Display shows a card for each order routed to that station. The card contains fields that you set in the Card Content Profile. In the Card Display section you select the style for the Card.
Settings for each field can be overridden in the Card Content Profile.
Item Status Styles
The Item Status style overrides the font selection of the item lines, both in the line display and the line section of the chit.
The statuses the items get are the following:
- Normal - This is the default style of the item line.
- Done - The item gets this style on the chit, when the item has been bumped from all previous stations.
- Started - Either the item gets automatically started when it appears in the kitchen, or it can be started manually with the start operation button. This depends on what is selected.
- Modified - Not implemented yet.
- On Time - The item should be started now. This is only used when synchronized production time is in use.
- Rush - Items get this status, if the order has been rushed from the POS, or if the order or item is rushed with the rush operation on the Web KDS.
- Voided - An item that has been voided gets this style.
- Not Ready to Start - Items that are not on time to be started yet get this status style. This only applies when synchronized production time is in use.
Order Status Style
The Order Status Style overrides the skin of the chit header and footer and the card. The statuses are the following:
- None - The default style of the chit. An order has this status when it is created.
- Done - When all items on an order have the Done status, the order gets the done status and this style will be applied.
- Started - when the first item on the order gets status Started, the order also gets status Started.
- Rush - An order can be rushed from the POS or Web KDS. Then all the items get status Rushed and the chit gets a line at the top in this style.
- Voided - An order that has been voided gets this style.
Order Comment Styles
Order comments appear between the header of the chit and the item line part. Order comments are entered in the POS.
Time Styles
The time styles set the background color of the order lines after the configured time has passed.
Tip: You can create multiple time styles with different time limits.
Field | Description |

Menu Entity Type | Select if the time styles should apply to items or orders: Item - Background color of the item line changes on the preparation station. Order - Background color of the chit item line section changes on the expeditor. |
Seconds Passed | Enter the number of seconds that should pass before the color changes to the selected color. |
Background Color | Select which color the background changes to. Note: Make sure the contrast between this color and all your text colors are set in such a way that the text is readable. |
Modifier Styles
There are different types of modifiers. Modifiers are the extra information added to the order line.
These are the available modifier styles:
- Increase - Item modifiers get this style.
- Decrease - Not in use.
- Normal - Not in use.
- Comment - Text and time modifiers and item comments get this style.
Operations
Each operation can have different look and feel. Select the Station Font and Station Color for each operation. For more information on the functionality of each operation see Operation Profile.
History
The History panel shows what items have been bumped lately. You can control how many minutes back in time and how many lines are displayed in the Functional Profile.
To add a History panel to your station, you must add it to the visual profile of your station.
The History section has a title of the section and a table with the item information. Select the Station Font and Skin for the
- Title - The title of this section.
- Header - The header line of the item list table.
- Footer - The content, the item lines of the table.
Queue
The Queue panel shows a count of items in each configured queue group. For more information about the queue setup see Queue Profile.
To add the queue panel to your station, you must add it to the visual profile of your station.
The Queue section has a title of the section and one information box for each queue group. The queue group has a header and content. You can style the following components:
- Title - The title of this section.
- Header - The header line of each of the queue groups.
- Footer - The content, the number of items in each of the groups.
Summary
The Summary panel shows the most bumped items that have been bumped lately. In the Functional Profile you can control how many minutes in time and how many lines are displayed.
To add the Summary panel to your station, you must add it to the visual profile of your station.
The Summary section has a title of the section and a list of the most bumped items and the count of them. You can style the following components:
- Title - The title of this section.
- Header - The header line of the item list table.
- Footer - The content, the item lines of the table.
