Header

The header of the line content profile includes the ID and the Description of the profile. The Row Padding field sets the padding of each row.

Tip: Increase the number in the Row Padding field to make each row higher yo make it easier to select with your finger on the KDS.

Kitchen Line Columns

Create a new line for each column you want to add to the line display. The table below describes the fields in each line.

Field Description
Column ID Select which information field you want to display on your Line display. The options are:
  • Table Number – Add this field if all orders have a dining table number, and these numbers are used to deliver the order to the correct table.
  • Queue Counter – Add this field if all orders have a queue counter number, and these numbers are used to deliver the order to the correct customer.
  • Item ID – Displays the ID of the items.
  • Item Modifiers – Shows any modifiers that have been added to the item.
  • Time Left – Counts down the production time. Counting either starts automatically when an item appears on the first station, or you can start counting manually by pressing the Start button. See configuration of Bump Mode on the kitchen station.
  • Ordering Time – Shows the time of day when the order was placed.
  • Actual Station – Shows on which station the item is currently located. This field can be useful on a ghost display that shows all orders for a group of stations.
  • Category – The item category for the item.
  • Production time – Shows the production time in minutes.
  • Display Letters – Shows the display letters for all stations to which the item is routed. Stations that have bumped the item line are shown in bold font.
  • Order ID – Add this field if the orders have different identifiers, table number, queue counter, or even a different name. This field shows the ID of the order, depending on the setup of the hospitality type.
  • Quantity – The quantity of the ordered item.
  • Retail Product Code – The retail product code for the item.
  • Seat Number – Displays which seat number this item order belongs to.
  • Item Description – Displays the name of the item.
  • Time Due – Displays the time when the order should be ready. If synchronized production time is in use, the program calculates the time from the item with the longest production time.
  • Time on Station – Displays a timer that starts counting when the order is sent to the kitchen.
Caption Enter a text that will be used as column header for this field.
Station Font Code Leave this field empty to use the default style set in the style profile. The default style profile font settings can be overridden per field, for example if you want one field to attract more attention than other information. The font includes the font's size, weight, and style.
Station Skin Code Leave this field empty to use the default style set in the style profile. The default style profile skin settings can be overridden per field, for example if you want one field to attract more attention than other information. The skin includes the background color of the field.
Alignment The default alignment set in the style profile for a chit's header or footer can be overridden per field.

Select alignment for the column, left, right, or centered.

Column Width The column width is set in proportion of the total width of all columns.
