Customer Facing Display (CFD)

The Customer Facing Display is an unattended kitchen station that shows customers when their orders are ready. Therefore, the orders are automatically bumped from this station after a time limit.

Enter this time limit in the Autobump After (Sec) field. The time starts counting after the order is done, that is, when it has been bumped from the expeditor.

In the Customer Facing Display List you configure which columns appear on the Customer Facing Display and which status is displayed where.

Fields Description
Column ID Enter an identifier for the line.
Caption Enter a text that will displayed at the top of the Status column on the Customer Facing Display.
Statuses Select which statuses are displayed in the column. You can select multiple statuses:
  • None - The order has been received in the kitchen but has not been started.
  • Started - The order has been started. The order gets status Started as soon as one item on the order has been started.
  • Done on prep stations - The order gets this status if all the items on the order are ready.
  • Done - The order gets this status after it has been bumped on the expeditor. This is when the Autobump After timer starts ticking.
