Staff Management Employee Portal

The Staff Management Employee Portal, SMEP, module is an application that allows the employee to access their work related information, that is, the work schedules assigned to them, the salary entries which have been prepared to be sent to the salary module, as well as providing them with the tool to request specific work shifts and days off in the future.

The manager can also make requests to specific employees to take on shifts, as well as having easy access through the Staff Management role center to accept or reject any work / day off requests being forwarded using the employee portal.

The Dynamics Business Central mobile client is used to present this information, and it can also be running as a mobile app, see information on the Dynamics Business Central mobile client for further information.

Tablets, and web clients can also be used as with any other Dynamics Business Central modules.

Requirements

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, the LS Retail add-on, and the Staff Management module have been set up and are running. Regarding installing and setting up these, refer to documentation on the above applications.
