This article explains how to set up the different types of coupons in the system.

To set up a coupon functionality in LS Central you need to:

1. Set up a coupon issuer.
2. Set up the coupon (Store, Manufacturer, or Return coupon).
3. Set up a barcode mask defining the structure of the coupon barcodes
4. Set up the coupon tender type in the stores that accept coupons.

When you have completed the setup, you can scan the coupon any time at the POS, or you can set up a POS button for coupons which accepts coupon barcode or the coupon code in the system.

Note: If you issue coupons to be used in your own business, you should also define your company as coupon issuer. If you decide not to define your company as issuer and leave the issuer field in the coupons blank, you must still define a barcode mask without the issuer to read on the POS.
