How to: Set Up Coupon Issuers

The Coupon Issuer Card is used for setting up registration of coupon issuers. When you register the issuers you can trace from whom you accept coupons.

You can use the information in this table for invoicing coupon issuers, and, if needed, block coupons from a specific issuer.

Note: For Manufacturer coupons, each manufacturer you accept coupons from must be set up using the EAN number in the coupon barcode from the manufacturer.

To set up a coupon issuer

  1. Click the icon, enter Coupon Issuer Card, and select the relevant link.
  2. In the Coupon Issuer Card, fill in these fields a necessary: 
  • Code. The EAN number of the issuer. This number is used to recognize the barcode scanned for the coupon
  • Vendor No. You can define a vendor number for coupon issuers, if they are registered in the system.
  • Issuer Name. The name of the coupon issuer.
  • Blocked. If you select the Blocked check box, no coupons are accepted from this coupon issuer.
  • Default Handling. The default value used when a new coupon is created.
  • Default Price Group. The default value used when a new coupon is created.
  • Default Type. The default value used when a new coupon is created.

The lines in the Issuer Coupons section show coupons that are accepted for this particular issuer.
