From version 25.0, there are two versions of POS pop-up handling, Standard and Enhanced. In Retail Setup, you select which one you want to use. You can go back and forth between the two.

Standard Version Pop-up handling as it has been prior and up to version 25.0.

Includes events for subscription to influence the behavior.

Enhanced Version Introduced in version 25.0.

Uses pop-up types and a new set of pop-up panels.

You must import the PackagePOPUP_Handling_25.0 configuration package to be able to use the enhanced version. It includes pop-up types, POS commands, panels and menus.

The enhanced version will replace the standard handling of all pop-ups in version 26.0.

Several new features become available when you switch to the enhanced version of pop-up handling.

The Enhanced version uses interfaces that can be extended to change the behavior.
