How to: Search and register Power of Attorney by Delegate National ID

Use this procedure when you know the delegate's NIN and want to find which customers (patients) this person holds a Power of Attorney for.

To Register a Power of Attorney by Searching for a Delegate

1. Open the Customer Identification screen.
2. Change the Requested By field to Delegate. The Register Delegate/Official Errand window opens.
3. Enter the delegate's NIN (National Identity Number). The system automatically looks up the delegate's name, surname, and date of birth.
4. The system displays a list of customers for whom this delegate holds a Power of Attorney. The list can contain entries from both local records and the national EIK Power of Attorney service. A column in the list indicates the source of each entry.
5. Select the desired customer from the list.
6. Confirm the selection by pressing OK.
