After the Shopify BC Connector for LS Central is installed, the integration is configured in three places: in Shopify, in Business Central, and in LS Central. Complete them in the order below.
Note: Make sure the requirements in Prerequisites are met before you start.
Configuration Steps
- Shopify Configuration - Prepare the Shopify store: create the app that provides the Client ID and Client Secret, and set up payments, locations, shipping, and tax. Optional settings such as languages and markets are only needed if you use those features.
- Business Central Configuration - Connect the store to Business Central by creating a shop on the Shopify Shop Card page, and set up the Microsoft standard synchronization fields for items, prices, customers, orders, and returns.
- LS Central Configuration - Configure the LS Central extension section of the same shop, to add the retail functionality on top of the Microsoft connector.
Each Shopify store is added as its own shop in Business Central, with its own connection details, synchronization preferences, and mapping settings. Repeat the steps for every additional store.
