POS Actions

This table contains settings for specific actions that the POS should perform at a certain point in the transaction process or when triggered by particular data that appears.

Examples:

  • You can create a POS action that prompts the cashier to ask for flight number at the start of the transaction.
  • The POS can be set to give you notice when the 100th customer of the day makes his or her payment.
  • You can require the cashier to select a reason for voiding and giving discounts.

The Action Trigger has an extensive number of options.

The Do Action can prompt with an infocode, run a POS command, display a message, or raise an error.

The possibilities are quite extensive, and the POS does not need to be modified for this purpose.
