How to: Create a Time Modifier

Time modifiers are text modifiers with the addition of a numeric field that is used to add to or subtract from the item’s production time.

Infocodes are used for time modifiers.

Once you have created time modifiers, you can assign them to retail items, product groups, or item categories. You can also group them together in an item modifier group.

To create time modifiers

1. Click the icon, enter Item Modifiers List, and select the relevant link.
2. Click the New action to create a new item modifier.
3. For filling in the fields on the page, refer to Setup Options for Time Modifiers.
4. On the Item Modifier Selection Subcodes FastTab, create a new line.
5. Enter a code in the Line Code field (01 for example).
6. In the Description field, enter text to describe the modifier.
7. In the Time Modifier Minutes field, enter the number of minutes that should be subtracted from (negative number) or added to (positive number) the normal production time for the item the modifier is assigned to.
8. Repeat for more time options.
