How to: Create Sales Order Through an Agent

In order to create a sales order from a prescription, a prescription order must exist on the pharmacy customer that has the current agent assigned to it, and the prescription order must have the status Approved. To create a prescription order, see Prescriptions.

To create a Retail Sales Order

  1. Click the icon, enter Pharmacy Agent List, and select the relevant link.
  2. Double-click an existing agent or select an agent from the list.
    Note: Click the New action, if you want to create a new agent.
  3. In the Pharmacy Agent Card, click Actions - Process - Create Sales Orders. Once you click the action, the Retail Sales Order List opens.

The function Create Sales Orders creates a sales order from the selected line. When a sales order has been created, the next step is to create the shipment for the agent, see How to: Create a Shipment for an Agent.
