LS Central supports EBT transactions, allowing retailers to process both SNAP EBT (Food Benefits) and EBT Cash (TANF and other cash assistance) payments at the POS. The system ensures compliance with government regulations while offering flexibility in payment processing.
- SNAP EBT (EBT Card) – Restricted to eligible food items and can not be used for non-food purchases.
- EBT Cash (TANF & other cash assistance) - Offers greater flexibility, allowing purchases of food, household items, etc. It also supports cashback withdrawals at authorized locations.
LS Central uses the LS Pay integration and the Verifone Point PSP to support EBT card payments.
