Arrangement
Work arrangement is the term used for the different types of staff definitions. When you hire staff, you usually hire them on different conditions. Some may be hired full-time while others are just part-time.
Examples of arrangements:
- Full time
- Part time
- On call
When defining work arrangements in a company, you must also allocate salary settings for each arrangement. In the example below Work Codes are used to define what salary to use for different hours of the day.
Example of salary settings:
- Monday – 24-06 – Normal+84
- Monday – 06-18 – Normal
- Monday – 18-21 – Normal+21
- Monday – 21-24 – Normal+42
These settings must be defined for each work arrangement. When salary settings for a work arrangement are defined, it is important to remember that work codes can be different from one location to another, which means that an employee in the restaurant can have other work codes and salary settings than an employee working at the front desk.
Salary settings must be defined for every day of the week for all employees, even the ones with a fixed monthly salary. You can copy and paste the salary settings from one work arrangement to another.
