  1. Click the icon, enter Allocation Plan List, and select the relevant link.
  2. Open an existing Allocation Plan Defined, or create a new one. For more information refer to How to: Create an Allocation Plan Defined.
  3. Create Allocation Plan Defined Lines manually, or click the Add Item Lines action.
  4. Change the quantities to allocate as needed. For more information refer to How to: Adjust Quantities in the Allocation Plan Defined.
  5. Click the Create Documents action.
  6. Confirm the question in the dialog box.
  7. Select the applicable options. Finalize the document creation by clicking the Create Documents action.
  8. The system informs how many documents were created.

Note: The number of created document lines can be seen in the fields No. of PO Lines Created, No. of TO Lines Created, and No. of SO Lines Created in the Allocation Plan Defined Lines. You can display or hide these fields with the Show/Hide Doc. Creation fields action in the Line action group. This information is also displayed in the Allocation Plan Documents FactBox.

Expected Receipt Date for Purchase Orders

When you create a Purchase Order from the Allocation Plan, it is possible to automatically set the Expected Receipt Date for the Purchase Order according to its Purchase Lines by specifying the Created from Allocation Plan option in the Integration FastTab - Purchase Order (Expected Receipt Date) group in the Replen. Setup page.

The options are:

  • Do Not Populate - the Expected Receipt Date will not be populated.
  • Populate if all Lines Equal - the Expected Receipt Date will be populated with the Expected Receipt Date of the Purchase Lines if they are all equal.
  • Populate Earliest Date in Lines - the Expected Receipt Date will be populated with the earliest Expected Receipt Date of the Purchase Lines.
  • Populate Latest Date in Lines - the Expected Receipt Date will be populated with the latest Expected Receipt Date of the Purchase Lines.

To access the created documents

  1. Click the icon, enter Allocation Plan List, and select the relevant link.
  2. Open an existing Allocation Plan Defined with documents created.
  3. In the Allocation Plan Documents FactBox, click the number that represents the created documents.
  4. Alternatively, select the fields No. of PO Lines Created, No. of TO Lines Created, or No. of SO Lines Created in the Allocation Plan Defined Lines, and click the number to drill down to the documents.
  5. Click the Show Unposted Document action menu in the pop-up page to open the respective document.

To delete and recreate documents

  1. Click the icon, enter Allocation Plan List, and select the relevant link.
  2. Open an existing Allocation Plan Defined with documents created.
  3. Select the Allocation Plan Documents FactBox, and click the number that represents the created documents.
  4. Alternatively, select the fields No. of PO Lines Created, No. of TO Lines Created, or No. of SO Lines Created in the Allocation Plan Defined Lines, and click the number to drill down to the documents.
  5. Click the Show Unposted Document action menu in the pop-up page to open a document.
  6. Delete the document in the respective document's page.
  7. Repeat steps 3 to 6 as needed.
  8. Select the Create Documents check box in the Allocation Plan Defined Lines FastTab for the item that you want to recreate documents for.
  9. Change the quantities to allocate as needed. For more information refer to How to: Adjust Quantities in the Allocation Plan Defined.
  10. Click the Create Purchase Orders, Transfer Orders, Sales Orders action.

To perform Open-to-Buy checks

  1. Click the icon, enter Allocation Plan List, and select the relevant link.
  2. Open an existing Allocation Plan Defined that is ready for Purchase Order Creation.
  3. Fill in the Open-to-Buy Date. This date will be used to perform an Open-to-Buy check on this Allocation Plan.
  4. Click the Check Open-to-Buy action.
  5. If the check is successful, the system shows a notification message. If the check fails, the system redirects to the Open-to-Buy Log page. For more information on Open-to-Buy checks refer to How to: Perform Open-to-Buy Checks on Allocation Plans .
