Filter by parent UOM
You can let your infocode options be filtered by the parent item's unit of measure. |
This is useful when you have items with a selection of unit of measures, such as coffee. You set up your item modifiers with a subcode per modifier per unit of measure. When the user enters the parent item (the coffee), only those modifiers with the same unit of measure code as the parent item are shown. See How to: Filter Modifier Options by Parent UOM for more information. |
Specific infocode subcode on a menu button
You can set up your POS menu to insert specific infocode subcodes or items. |
This is useful for example if items generally have the same item modifiers assigned. Without any pop-up opening up, the user selects the desired modifier with one click. See How to: Link Item Modifier Option to Menu Button for more information. |
Default selection for a modifier
Default selection is possible for infocodes, item modifiers, and cross-selling that are shown in a pop-up. |
You can mark a specific option as Default Selection. When the pop-up appears with the options, the option marked as Default Selection is already selected. |
Group overriding max and min selection
An infocode, item modifier, or cross-selling group can override the maximum and minimum selection of its group entities. |
It makes grouping of infocodes, item modifiers, and cross-selling groups easier, when the group can control the maximum and minimum selection for its entities. |
Open groups in Pop-up Panel
You can use open groups for infocode, item modifier, and cross-selling groups. |
Instead of having only an option to show the options of one group at a time, you can have a pop-up panel that shows all groups, and for each group, all of its options. No need to scroll between groups, the options are grouped together and the user can quickly select the desired options. See How to: Display Open Groups in Pop-up Panels for more information. |
