You change the quantity of a deal on a journal line by using the QTYCH command. The command can be placed:

on a button on a visible POS menu.

on a column in the journal line data grid (applies to any journal line including a deal header line).

on a button on a POS menu that is the parameter to the POPUP command placed on a column in the journal line data grid.
Restrictions on changing quantity of deals

POS Pop-up Version must be Enhanced.

The deal must allow keying in quantity.

You can change quantity on the deal header line only.

If the deal has deal modifiers and has been sent to the kitchen, the Hospitality Type setting Changing Item with Modifiers Sent to Kitchen controls under what circumstances this action is allowed. By default it is not allowed.
