Media Playlists

Media playlists are data used by other processes. You can set up media playlists in the POS for various use and purposes.

An example of the media playlist is the Dual Display setup in the Demo Data which uses two media playlists. One media playlist displays information when it is in idle mode, and the other is displayed when the POS is in sales and payment mode.

The POS Media Playlist Card

Each playlist has some lines of the data to be displayed. The playlist's lines are set up to use images or links from Retail Images.

• To enter Retail Image Links to the playlist, either click the Image column on the POS Media Playlist Card, or select a line and click the Manage action and then the Image action to open the Retail Image Link List page, where you select the relevant link.
