Mobile POS App Setup
Note: Before you open the Mobile POS app, make sure that Commerce Service and LS Central are up and running.
When you open the app for the first time, the Settings screen is displayed.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Server URL | This is the URL to connect to Commerce Service. |
LS Key | Used when Commerce Service runs in Multi-Tenant mode. The LS Key is generated in the Commerce Portal and should be set here to connect to the correct instance of LS Central. |
Timeout | This is the time to wait for a command to complete. For SaaS or Azure environment consider increasing this timeout to a value that fits the environment setup. |
Store ID and Terminal ID | Must also match an existing store and terminal that have been set up for Mobile POS. |
Batch size | This is the size of records included in each replication call. This should be set according to performance availability of the environment. For SaaS environment, consider lowering this value as replication will be done via web services. |
