If a customer requires a product on a regular basis, the Subscriptions and Reminders model is required. Subscriptions and reminders can handle both drugs and other products.

You can create three types of subscriptions and reminders:

  • Reminders
  • Subscription with confirmation first. The confirmation can be manual or from an external system and is the basis for an order.
  • Subscription with order (auto confirmed).

You do this in the following order:

  • Create Subscriptions Agreements
  • Confirm the Subscriptions
  • Create Subscription Lines.

To access Subscriptions, go to Departments - LS Retail - Pharmacy - Prescription Orders - Subscription Agreements.

The flow

  1. Subscription Agreement is created and enabled.
  2. After the Subscription Agreement has been enabled, Subscription Confirmations are created automatically by a scheduler.
  3. From the Subscription Confirmations page you can:
    • Send a notification to the customer.
    • Confirm the Subscription Confirmation.
    • Create a customer order.
  4. After the Subscription Confirmation has been processed, you have access to it from the Processed Subscr. Confirmations page.

Possibilities

  • There can be different types of interval per pharmacy.
  • Customers can be notified automatically or manually.
  • The pharmacy can notify customers that they have no active prescriptions.
  • The pharmacy can notify customers when their prescription order is ready.
  • The pharmacy can notify customers when the last delivery has been made.
