Gratuity Management

Gratuity Management is an addition to Income/Expense account functionality to handle Tips received from customers and tips distributed to the staff using the POS.

  • By using the INCEXP (income/expense account) POS command, you set up a Tips In button to enter received tips and a Tips Out button to pay out tips in your Sales POS menus.
  • You can also use either the TIPS or TIPS_SUGGESTIONS POS commands to enter received tips. They use settings defined for the active hospitality type.
  • By running the Tips report, you can get details on how much tips was received, tips paid out and tips balance since the last Z-Report printing.
