The Hybrid setup lets customers take advantage of the benefits of cloud hosting and the resilience of an offline POS.
LS Retail uses the Hybrid Component Server (HCS) to achieve offline device architecture.
There are two HCS installation options available:
- Hybrid Component Server Manual Setup
- Hybrid Component Server Setup With Script.
This option uses a script provided by LS Retail that automates the HCS setup. The script creates an Azure virtual machine and installs the HCS components.
To get the script, send a request to Technical Support (login required).
