The Sales Statistics table contains information about item sales in transactions that are read from
the transaction from the POS terminals.
The program collects and sums up the statistical data for each interval as defined in the Statistics Time Setup table.
The Item Sales Statistics on field in the Retail Setup table defines whether the program enters
information into this table or not and whether it retains information on an item,
Product Group or Item Category level.
The Trans. Sales Entry table contains the same information with more details with an entry for each processed item.
After you compress transactions in your system or transfer them elsewhere, the Sales Statistics table retains certain sales details collected for the defined time frame.
