How to: Delete a Prescription Order

The Prescription Order can be deleted in two ways: 

  1. From the tile Approved Prescription Orders in the Role Center or
  2. From the Customer Service page by clicking the Customer Service option on the Actions menu.

Note: If the Prescription Order has status Approved, it must be re-opened first, see How to: Reopen and Edit Orders.

To delete a Prescription Order

  1. Open the Prescription Order.
  2. Click the Edit action, and then click Delete Order.

You have now deleted the Prescription Order.

Tip: A Prescription Order can be deleted with a Prescription Order Line in it, provided the line has status New. If the Prescription Order Line does not have status New, you must re-open the line before you can delete it with the Prescription Order, see Re-Open a Prescription Order Line.
