How to: Create Prescription Terminals

Prescription terminals have to be created for the pharmacy, one for each POS terminal. The following is mandatory:

To create a prescription terminal

  1. Click the icon, enter Prescription Terminals, and select the relevant link.
  2. Click the New action, and fill in the fields:

    No.Required field. Here you give the prescription terminal a number.
    DescriptionRequired field. Here you write a description of the prescription terminal, often about where the terminal is located in the store.
    Store No.Required field. Here you select the store that the prescription terminal should belong to.
    Store NameThe store name appears automatically here.
    Prescr. Order ProfileRequired field. If the pharmacy is using different prescription profiles for different types of staff, you select the profile for each terminal here. For more information see Prescription Profiles.
    Prescription Flow ProfileRequired field. Here you select the appropriate flow profile for the terminal. For more information see How to: Set Up Flow Profiles.
    Credit Prescr. Flow ProfileRequired field. Here you select the credit prescription flow profile that should be used for the prescription terminal, see How to: Set Up Flow Profiles.
    Default Price GroupHere you select the default price group for the prescription terminal that will be used if no price group is specified on a lower level.
    Default Sales TypeHere you select the default sales type for the prescription terminal that will be used if no sales type is specified on a lower level.
    Hardware ProfileHere you select the hardware profile that is assigned to the prescription terminal.
    Interface ProfileHere you select the interface profile that is assigned to the prescription terminal.
    Functionality ProfileHere you select the functionality profile that is assigned to the prescription terminal.
    Default PrinterInternal use only.
    Last Date ModifiedInternal use only.
    Document ScannerHere you select the printer for scanning paper- based prescriptions into the system.
    Document Resolution (dpi)Here you specify the resolution of the scanned document.
    Document ColorHere you specify in what color the document should be saved in.
