All Prescription Orders other than e-Prescription Orders (which include Incoming Orders) are created in the same way. Prescription orders (other than e-Prescription orders) can be in the following formats:
- Paper orders
- Phone orders
- Fax orders
- Emergency orders
Note: Emergency orders are created the same way as the other three order types (paper, phone, and fax orders), except in the Type field where you would select Emergency when you create the order.
In the instructions below, a paper Prescription Order is made. Note: The process is the same for paper, phone, and fax Prescription Orders.
See Prescription Order Line Detailed for a detailed description of all fields in the Prescription Order Line page.
