The Sales report contains several pages that display sales data, such as net sales, margin, margin percentage, quantity from different views such as the item hierarchy, stores, time of day and day of week, staff, members, and more. The Sales report also includes information on discounted sales.
Below, you can view all the pages of the Sales report with sample data. You can right-click visuals to drill through to analysis and detail pages.
The filter pane is not displayed in the above reports, but all reports contain a filter pane. The Sales report template has several filters available for all report pages and some that only apply to one report page or visual.
You can remove, add, and manage these filters in Power BI desktop before publishing the report to Power BI service and distributing it to users throughout your organization. This way, you can add constraints on what the users can see. The filter pane is explained in more detail in Report Navigation, Filtering, and Other Features.
This version of the Sales report works with Analytics versions 2022.1 and later.
