How to: Split a Prescription

The function Split Prescription is used when the prescription needs to be split.

Note: The status of the prescription order line must be New.

To split a prescription

1. Click the Open Prescription Orders tile in the Role Center.
2. Select your order, and click the Edit action.
3. On the Edit Prescription Order Line page, click the Split Prescription action.
4. The Prescription Order Line is now split in two and can be edited.
   Note: You can split the line multiple times.
