POS - Example of EBT Transactions

• Run the POS to make sale transactions.
• For example, after you add four items to the sales line, the POS Menu line will be populated value. The value is visible at the top right corner.

  

In this example, we will finalize the sale by making a partial payment using a different tender-type method:

EBT

• Make a partial payment of USD10 by EBT (Tax Exempted).
• The original item “Aspirin”, comes with sales tax, so we need to split the item line (Aspirin - paid by EBT) to USD10 without sales tax. The quantity will also affect and make the new quantity 0.5 after splitting.

  

EBT Cash

• Make a partial payment of USD50 in EBT Cash.
• The EBT Cash tender type paid the item lines with sales tax (Aspirin - paid by EBT Cash, Fluiaid - paid by EBT Cash).

  

Cash

• Finish the remaining amount by making a final payment of USD 24.30 in Cash.
