For items in a customer cart, the Basket Calculation feature helps to get Order objects with order lines with prices, calculated amount, and discount information (if applicable). The Order object is used to finalize the order.
In the Admin > Stores > Configuration > LS Retail > Basket Calculation tab there are three options available in the Calculate basket at field to trigger the Basket Calculation logic:
- Every Cart Update
- Once on Checkout
- Every Cart Update and on Checkout.
