The Role Budgets are a critical setup to use as a reference for planning and must be defined before any planning can start.
These settings basically define how many people you need for particular role and shift. A role and shift combination must have minimum need of one employee to be displayed on the total section of the roster planning screen.
To access this setup, click the 
icon, enter Location Role Budgets, and select the relevant link.
