How to: Set Up Commission Rule of Type Sales Target
In this example all salespersons get 5% commission until sales target 1000 is reached, then they get 10% until sales target 2000 is reached, and 15% until sales target 5000 is reached, and 5 in amount when sales target 5000 is reached on all items at all stores, excluding food items.
To set up this rule
- Click the
icon, enter Commission Rules, and select the relevant link.
- Click the New action.
- On the General FastTab, specify Code, Description, and the Priority, and set the Calculation Type as Sales Target.
- Specify a Validation Period of your choice, and set Store Typeas All.
- On the Items FastTab, create the item lines as follows.
- First line, fill in these fields:
Item Group Type: All Items - Second line:
Item Group Type: Division
No: Food

- First line:
Salesperson Type: Salesperson .

To monitor how individual salespersons are achieving the sales targets:
- Go to the Commission Sales Periods page.
- Select a sales period in the list, click the Navigate action, and then click Sales Period- Target Sale.
