Deal Pricing Overview

This diagram shows an overview of how deal pricing is handled when a deal is added to a transaction.

• Valid deal price list lines:
  • have Status Active.
  • are valid at the time the deal is added (or the transaction date and time if deal lines are being updated) according to their timing restrictions.
  • pass minimum quantity restrictions (if minimum quantity is set for a line, the quantity of the deal in the transaction has to be at least that).

• Store price groups have priority. The system searches for deal price list lines assigned to the store price group with highest priority first. If found, those lines are the valid lines for the store. If not found, the system searches for deal price list lines assigned to the next highest store price group and so on.
