How to: Import and Export Images from a Zip File

You can import and export Retail images from a Zip file.

To import images from a Zip file

  1. Click the icon, enter Retail Image List, and select the relevant link.
  2. Click the Import from Zip action.
  3. In the Retail Image Import/Export page, select a Zip file to import in the Select a ZIP File field.
    Note: Maximum file size cannot exceed 26 MB unless you make changes in the Internet Information Services (IIS), the Request Filtering Settings option. Contact your Administrator to get help, if necessary.
  4. The worksheet lines indicate if an image with same code exists in the database. You can overwrite all existing images by selecting the Replace Images check box.
  5. Click the Import Images action, when you are ready to do the import.

To export images to a Zip file

  1. Click the icon, enter Retail Image List, and select the relevant link. You can add filters to the list in the normal way.
  2. Click the Export to Zip action. The Retail Image Import/Export page opens with a list of images.
  3. If required, you can increase the default Zip file size of maximum 28 MB. Note: This requires making changes in the IIS (see step 3 in the Import section above).
  4. Click the Export Images action to start the export. A file is created in your Download folder.

    Note: If the total size of the exported images exceeds the specified file size, several Zip files will be created within one Zip file.
