Printer Selection: Hardware Station Additions

LS Retail has extended the Business Central Printer Selections functionality to enable BackOffice printing through Hardware Station. The new fields for Hardware Station printing are:

Field	Description
Hardware Station Printer	Here you can set the printer where you want to direct your printing for the active Printer Selection entry. If a printer is also selected in the Printer Name field in the entry, it will take priority and all printing will be directed to that printer. Before you can select a printer you first need to open the POS Hardware Profile card and run the Detect Hardware action. This will load all available printers into the POS Printer table.
Hardware Station Host	This field stores the information about where the Hardware Station service is located, including the port. Default is localhost:8082 When you select a Hardware Station Printer, this field will be automatically filled with host information from the POS Printer table.
Hardware Station Url	This field is a non-editable connection string URL consisting of the Host and Printer name along with fixed commands.
Run Request Page	This field specifies if you want the Report Request Page to be opened before printing, or if the report should go directly to the printer.
Printer Paper Kind	This field specifies the Paper Kind to use for specific reports. Options available are values from the non-extendable Enum: "Printer Paper Kind".
