The Web Replication Monitor is a functionality that you can configure to collect the status of web replication tasks, and, if needed, to send emails.

The monitor consists of three elements:

  • Monitor setup (web monitor setup) - defines monitoring thresholds for several key web replication elements.
  • Monitor pages - show the monitor result buffer.
  • The ability to send notification emails.

To access the Web Replication Monitor Setup

  • Go to the Scheduler Setup page, click the Related action, then click Setup - Web Replication Monitor Setup, and fill in the relevant fields.

Sending emails

Sending emails is controlled by a Scheduler Job running codeunit 10012816 LSC Web Repl. Monitor Mgt.

This job, which can be run as often as needed, collects data based on the field values in the Web Replication Monitor Setup page. If the Email Threshold is reached, an email is sent to the specified email address.

Note: This scheduled notification job only focuses on tasks in progress. This means that even if you can configure the monitor to look at logs of processed entries (see the Log Interval (Days) field in the Web Replication Monitor Setup page), those “behind” entries are not included in the email process.
