Function
- This function sends user login and logoff transactions to the central database, to prevent that a user can login to two or more POS at a time.
Error handling
- Connection errors report that it is not possible to connect to the remote database. Incorrect serial numbers or numbers that do not have open entries are reported as invalid.
- The user can always choose to skip the validation, but the serial number then needs to be validated when the statement is created.
