Inserting Default Data

It is necessary to insert default data when you set up a new company.

Insert Default Data is run from the Retail Setup page or Import Export Worksheet.

This process inserts for example:

  • POS commands which belong to the LS Central Base system
  • Data into Retail Setup
  • Basic number series.

POS Profiles and some other POS Setup data can now be exported and imported with the tool Import Export Worksheet, and are therefore not a part of Insert Default Data.

If you are using Hospitality, you need to insert Hospitality Commands and include Meal Planning and/or Delivery & Takeout as needed. This will insert basic data necessary for Hospitality functionality and features.
