Web Services in SaaS

To create the URI for the LS Central Web Service, open LS Central BackOffice. Click the icon, to look for relevant links to pages.

  1. Open User Card for your admin user.
    • Copy the key from Web Service Access Key located on the General FastTab, group Web Service. You need this key as password for Commerce service.
Note: It can be a little tricky to copy the whole value since this field is not editable, make sure you get all the data in the field.
  2. Open Web Service Setup.
    • On the General FastTab, activate the Web Service is Active field.
    • In the Client Credentials FastTab, fill out the data for your setup:
      • Override Client Credentials - make it active.
      • Username - put in your admin user ID.
      • Password - put in the Web Service Access Key for your admin user.
    • Get the Web Service URI for your setup:
      • Click the Web Request 2.0 action.
      • Click the Publisher action.
      • Click the Publish LS Commerce Web Service or Publish Omni Wrapper (older Central) action.
    • Go back to the Web Service Setup page.
      • Click the Web Services action.
      • Search for RetailWebServices, and click the SOAP URL for the line.
      • The browser opens with this URI and you should have your normal feedback.
      • If asked for login, use same Username and Web Service Access Key as in Client Credentials setup to log in.
      • This is your Web Service URI value, copy it and save it.
