The offline functionality makes it possible to make a payment without an internet connection.
You can make as many offline transactions as you want, and then mass-upload them to LS Central when the internet connection is restored.
You can also add manual discounts in offline mode.
What happens if there is no internet connection?
When the Mobile POS is offline, the Wi-Fi signal is displayed on a banner at the bottom of the screen. Buttons that rely on an internet connection are disabled.
You can still sell items on the Mobile POS, and you can post transactions offline and then upload them to LS Central when the internet connection is restored.
What happens when internet connection is restored?
When the internet connection is restored, the bar at the bottom disappears.
If you have made payments in offline mode, the app will check for offline transactions every minute and these will be automatically uploaded to LS Central.
If you are in a hurry, you can upload the transactions manually to LS Central:
- On the Home screen, tap Functions, and then tap Offline transactions.
- Tap Post transactions at the bottom of the screen, and all the offline transactions are posted to LS Central.
