How to: Update Shipment Package Tracking on the POS

When a Customer Order shipment is posted, the Package Tracking No. might not be available. You can add this information to the Sales Shipment document on the POS. You can also change the Shipping Agent and/or the Shipping Agent Service.

To change Shipping Agent information on Posted Sales Shipment

  1. On the POS, press the Customer Orders button to display the order list.
  2. Press the Find Order button to display a Search panel for Customer Orders.
  3. Find the Customer Order that is linked to the shipment you want to update.
  4. In the result panel, select the order, and press the View Shipments button.
  5. Select the shipment you want to update.
  6. Press the Edit Shipping Agent button.
  7. Current values, which you can change, are shown in a new panel .
  8. Change or add updated values, and press the OK button.
  9. Information is updated in the Shipping Document and a message is sent.
