How to: Create Pharmacy Permissions

Permissions are often necessary, especially when you are working with pharmacies. A permission is linked to the Pharmacy Role, which again is linked to the pharmacy user, see How to: Create Pharmacy Users, the Pharmacy User Role FastTab .

To create Pharmacy permissions

  1. Go to Departments - LS Retail - Pharmacy - Pharmacy Setup - Administration.
  2. In the General section, select Pharmacy Permissions.
  3. Click New on the Home action menu.
  4. Fill in the fields in the General FastTab:

    Field Description
Code Here you give the permission a code, for example JNR (junior).
Description Here you enter a description of the code, for example Very limited permissions.
Auth. Code Mandatory Select this check box, if you want the pharmacy user who is logged in to give an electronic signature before the submitted pharmacy commands run.
Note: In the user role, the Role has All Permissions check box must be empty, because it overwrites this feature.
Req. Different User Select this check box, if you want the system to prompt that the current pharmacy user cannot do the pharmacy commands defined in the list in the Pharmacy Permission Command FastTab. Another user must log in to the system. Note: In the user role, the Role has All Permissionscheck box must be empty, because it overwrites this feature.
Msg. When Auth. Fails Here you can type a message to be displayed if authentication fails.
  1. Fill in the fields in the Pharmacy Permission Command FastTab:

    Field Description
Command Here you can select all the commands that the pharmacy user can use. An empty list here means that the user is allowed to do everything.
Command Description An automatically generated description of the command.
