How to: Create Pharmacy Menus

  1. Go to Departments - LS Retail - Pharmacy - Pharmacy Setup - Administration.
  2. In the General section, select Pharmacy Menus.
  3. Click New on the Home action menu.
  4. Fill in the fields in the General FastTab:

    Field Description
    Profile ID Here you select a profile ID for the menu or create a new one.
    Menu ID Here you give the menu an ID.
    Menu Description Here you write a description of the menu.
    Menu Type Internal use only.
    Page ID Here you select the page that the Pharmacy Menu should be referenced to.
    Page Description Shows the page description after the Page ID has been selected.
    Show System Menu Internal use only.
    Disable Clear Filter Select this check box, if you do not want the user to be able to use the Clear Filter function on the menu.
    Disable Find Select this check box, if you do not want the user to be able to use the Find function in the menu.
    Disable Go to Select this check box, if you do not want the user to be able to use the Go to function in the menu.
    Scanner Enabled Select this check box, if the scanner should be enabled on this menu.
    MSR Enabled Select this check box, if the MRS function should be enabled on this menu.
    Dallas Key Enabled Select this check box, if the Dallas Key should be enabled on this menu.
  1. Fill in the fields in the Pharmacy Menu Line FastTab:

    Field Description
    Key No. Here you type in the key number. The menu types will appear in ascending order in the menu.
    Option No. Internal use only.
    Type Here you select a type for the menu line. The available options are:
    • Menu Item
    • Group
    • Tab
    Description Here you write a description of the type.
    Command Here you select the command for the menu line.
    Parameter Here you can specify the parameter for the command.
    Post Command Here you can assign a second command to this menu line.
    Post Parameter Here you can select a post parameter if the post command takes one.
    Shortcut Key Here you can place a shortcut key for the command, if needed.
    Image Here you can type in the image name, if you want the button to have an image.
    Separator Internal use only.
    Option Table Internal use only.
    Field No. Internal use only.
    Field Name Internal use only.
    Filter Type Internal use only.
    Filter Value Internal use only.
