How to: Set Up an Over-the-Counter Quick Service Restaurant

Setting up an over-the-counter restaurant

  1. Create a new hospitality type.
  2. Select the desired restaurant and sales type.
  3. Either apply the Quick Service: With KDS, Pay when Ordering template, or select Quick Service in the Service Type field.
  4. Adjust the KDS settings, if necessary.

It is possible to use a Queue Countersto mark the transaction and the KOT with a running number for identification for the customer and the kitchen.

Note: The service flow that the Over the Counter hospitality type is using must use Transaction Status Tracking and Kitchen Order Tracking.
