eCommerce – Magento with a hospitality component creates all deal lines, modifiers, and ingredients as custom options in Magento, and by default Magento does not allow adding images for custom options. Keeping in mind the restaurant owners' desire to entice customers with a more intuitive way of selecting product on the product detail page, eCommerce - Magento with a hospitality component is fully functional with this much needed feature as well.
With this feature:

Instead of a typical drop-down list or multi-selection, each available option is shown as a separate image:

On selecting either of the available options, a list of respective option values is shown in the form of a pop-up window for the customer to select:

Based on the type of option, that is an ingredient, modifier, or a deal line, a check mark or a cross is shown on top of the selected option value. If the option is a multi-select option, the customer can select multiple values:
